Khary Pierre
All Rounder

West Indies
Biography
Khary Pierre is a cricketer from Trinidad and Tobago who has established himself as an all-rounder, primarily known for his slow left-arm orthodox bowling and left-handed batting. His professional career began with his home team, making his first-class debut for Trinidad and Tobago in the 2016–17 Regional Four Day Competition on November 25, 2016. He quickly followed this up by playing his first List A game for the team in the 2016–17 Regional Super50 on January 31, 2017, showing his potential in different formats of the game.
He transitioned smoothly into the fast-paced world of T20 cricket, making his debut for the Trinbago Knight Riders in the 2017 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) on August 4, 2017. His performances in regional tournaments helped him gain recognition, leading to him being named in the Cricket West Indies B Team squad for the first-ever Global T20 Canada tournament in June 2018. He was again included in the Trinbago Knight Riders squad for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League.
Pierre's consistent domestic form opened the door to international cricket for the West Indies team. In October 2018, he was selected for the West Indies' Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the series against India. He officially made his T20I debut for the West Indies against India on November 4, 2018. His talent was further acknowledged in May 2019 when Cricket West Indies (CWI) named him as one of ten reserve players in the West Indies' squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Later that year, he also played his first ODI, against India. Pierre could not quite cement his place due to a lot of competition and had to perform in domestic cricket and CPL. However, he did make a comeback and 6 years later made his Test debut, which once again came against India in 2025. Not only that, but he also got picked for T20Is and ODIs consistently. Khary Pierre’s journey reflects his dedication, moving from domestic and regional cricket to representing the West Indies at the highest level.
